So, it's been ages since I've put anything on DA, journal or writing. The last piece I put up was for the failure of the final english project, so even that barely counts. Hopefully this journal sheds a bit of light as to why...

I was thinkiing this month about the pit known as the future, as in the blank spot taking place after this year of high school. I plan to go into journalism and as I was writing an article for a teen magazine ("The Message Twilight sends to Teenage Girls" >.> ) I was considering the fictional writing I do. Most of it's fun and a type of fanservice to myself, which leads to it being badly plotted out and half thought of. That doesn't make it bad exactly, but the majority of it isn't helping me improve as a writing much either. With that in mind I've decided to put certain stories, teenverse/drowverse, on hold and focus on the stories I have that I can really work with. As it stands right now the Cyber!Verse and the angel stories are completed but in need of heavy editing, and the teen!verse is sitting comfortably at around fifteen stories that need to be edited. Hopefully all that will be done and put up before November.

As for November...when this years NaNoWriMo comes I'm planning to have a fully plotted out idea in my head. It works better, and might get me to 50k words without losing everything I originally wanted in the story. I'll be trying to post that in December, as for most of those two months I'll have nothing to do but write/sleep. Oral surgery might fail at life, but at least it leaves my schedule bare.

So...yeah, that's about it. I'm still writing now, bits and pieces of stuff, but I doubt any of it will see the light of day before school starts. I am giving some serious considation to writing a fanfiction I plotted out years ago, Kathleen knows the one...that would probably signify a new low for me though ^.^
